CAVIAHUE

It is a modern tourist center, which in winter offers a complete infrastructure to enjoy winter sports and in summer it offers the opportunity to access the nearby town of Copahue, which is recognized as one of the best thermal water center of the world.

The framework is exceptional: The presence of the Copahue volcano, the clear air and slightly acidic smell of the lake are combined in a unique way. The Mapuche people bring their farms and settle in the middle of the tourist center. This place is a sacred space for them, which is why it is named Caviahue "stimulating place, where you turn around a sacred boulder".

Tourism offer is very comprehensive. The hotels, lodges and restaurants offer good services. In February, it´s celebrated the "Pine Seed Feast," with horse shows and tasty roasted goat
