GENERAL ACHA

Founded in 1882 by General Manuel Campos, it is named after the “unitary” general that fought against Rosas. Today owes its growth to livestock and production of plasterboard Durlock. The first weekend of November this city celebrates the Feast of the calf, the Yerra and Pial (kind of rodeo).

General Acha is an excellent intermediate point for those traveling from Buenos Aires toward the lakes area in the south, because it is one of the last towns with some infrastructure before entering the routes that cross the arid Pampa.

We appreciate the cooperation of the government of La Pampa for the information provided.
