GUALEGUAYCHÚ

Gualeguaychu is one of the major tourist destinations in the province of Entre Rios. In the city coastal it is possible to find many spas, the port and the Unzué Park, with its lush and varied vegetation. All these sites are ideal for water sports, fishing and outdoor walks.

It’s a must visiting the Boca Port, at the confluence of Gualeguaychu and Uruguay, Protection Station of Local Flora and Fauna El Sirirí, the Itapebi farm and spa and camping Ñandubaysal, located at 17 km on the Uruguay River. In the city itself, it deserve a visit the San Martín Square, Urquiza Square and the San Jose Cathedral, or cultural sites like the Magnasco Institute Museum, the Railway Museum, the houses of Andrade and Fray Mocho.

But perhaps the most famous attraction of Gualeguaychu is its carnival, one of which convenes more people throughout Argentina. During January and February thousands of tourists come to partake of the ""Carnival of the Country"", where you can enjoy the parade of comparsas, choreographies and the impressive show of the floats with their charms in the site called ¨Corsódromo¨
