Mar del Plata is defined by Casino, beaches and nightlife. But this is just the beginning; there are plenty of things to know about this big city. Towards the south, the plain beaches grow into high cliffs inviting you to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sights from Cabo Corrientes, the architecture of their mansions, the woods, are things to have in mind while you are there. But there’s something often missing when people think of Mar del Plata as tourism destination: it is one of the most important ports of the country, therefore it’s a place with amazing activity that worth the sightseeing of their ships and the frantic work of the fishers surrounded by sea lions that come there to rest.
