Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, is the ideal place to base and tour the Southern boundary of Argentina, including Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego and the Antarctic (excursions to the white continent are a minimum of 8 days long).
In winter season it receives thousands of tourists who can perform in these lands cross-country and alpine skiing, ice skating, walks in snow cats, troika or quad cycles and hiking with snowshoes. It’s a must a ride in a sled pulled by Siberian husky dogs.
